About Jarkai

Form X, also known as Niman or Jar'Kai, is a type of lightsaber combat. It permitted a Jedi to fight with two lightsabers, one in each hand, as demonstrated by Anakin Skywalker when he faced Count Dooku in their final battle. One of these blades was to be used for attacking while the other was reserved for defense.

Jarkai is the journal of two separate individuals, working as one.

About the Work Itself

Like the saber style itself, Jarkai is dual-focused, concentrating both on the creation of a variety of icons and the writing of fanfiction. While our icons try to bring out the beauty of stockart, the entirety of our fanfiction so far has been set in the Star Wars universe, albeit a somewhat darker version of it. Our baby is Silenus, a three-part, 60,000 word piece of erotic horror influenced highly by Silent Hill. What can we say? It worked.

A Word to the Wise

The majority of the stories here depict relationships that are homosexual in nature. We find these kind of pairings not only natural, but beautiful, and try to portray them as such. If you cannot handle m/m slash or yaoi, please read no further.

Also, for a variety of reasons, our minds tend to walk darker paths. That means our stories do, too. If you cannot handle weighty subject matters alongside your fluff, this may not be the place for you.
